Visa Bulletin Tracker is a free reference to a published U.S. Government table — the State Department's monthly Visa Bulletin — and nothing more. It is not legal advice, not an official government publication, and not connected to the State Department or any agency; it cannot tell you what will happen to your case, and no figure here should be relied on for an immigration decision without confirming it against the official bulletin at travel.state.gov and, for advice, a licensed immigration attorney. Cut-off dates stall and move backward without warning, so any projection on this site is an estimate rather than a schedule. The underlying bulletin data is public domain (17 U.S.C. §105) and free to reuse; this site's own text, layout, analysis and code are not. The site is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind.
Nature of the information
Reference and educational information only — not legal advice, not immigration advice, and not an official government publication. Every figure on this site is a cut-off date the U.S. Department of State published in a specific monthly Visa Bulletin, republished here for reference. Your case is governed by that official bulletin, by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, and by the consular officers who handle it — not by this site.
Nothing here is a lawyer, and nothing here is a substitute for one. This site cannot tell you what to file, when to file it, whether you are eligible, what your priority date is, or what will happen to your case. For advice about your situation, consult a licensed immigration attorney.
Estimates are estimates
Where a cut-off has been measurably advancing, this site projects that pace forward and names the bulletin it would reach a given priority date in. That is an estimate and is labelled one wherever it appears. It assumes a measured pace holds; nothing guarantees that it will. It is not a prediction, not a schedule, and not a date to plan a life around.
Cut-off dates routinely stall, and they move backward without warning. Backward movement — retrogression — has occurred 359 times in the record this site holds, the largest undoing more than a decade of queue position in a single bulletin. Being current in a chart is also not the same as a visa being issued. Do not treat any figure or estimate here as a commitment by anyone.
Accuracy and warranty
Provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Every value is traced to a named bulletin and stored with the exact text the source printed, and the methodology page documents the sources, the 5 months missing from the record, the limits on how current the data can be, and every case in which this site refuses to estimate. That is a real effort at accuracy and it is not a guarantee of it: the data is transcribed from a source that contains typos, the archive from which it is read has holes, and this site may be behind the newest bulletin on the day it is published.
The official bulletin at travel.state.gov is always the authority. Confirm anything that matters against it before relying on it. If a figure here disagrees with the bulletin it cites, the bulletin is right and this site has a bug — please report it.
Data attribution and reuse
The underlying cut-off data is from the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Consular Affairs — a work of the U.S. Government and therefore in the public domain under 17 U.S.C. §105. 291 bulletins, December 2001 to July 2026. Nobody, including this site, owns those figures, and you are free to use them.
This site's own material — its text, layout, design, the normalization and analysis applied to the source, and its code — is not public domain. This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the U.S. Department of State, the Internet Archive, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, or any government agency.
Acceptable use and external links
Personal, educational and professional reference use is welcome. Please do not hammer the site hard enough to degrade it for other people — every page is static and cheap to serve, and a machine-readable copy of every page is published alongside it precisely so that nobody has to scrape the HTML. Please do not present this site as an official State Department or government publication; it is not one, and for people making decisions about their immigration status that distinction matters more than usual.
External links are provided for reference and are not endorsements. Sites linked from here are outside this site's control and have their own terms and privacy practices. Contact: [email protected].
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Visa Bulletin Tracker is not liable for any loss, cost or decision arising from use of this site, its data, or its estimates. Do not make an immigration, travel, employment, financial or family decision on the basis of a figure on this site without confirming it against the official Visa Bulletin and, where it matters, taking advice from a licensed immigration attorney.
